Prototyping

The following projects highlight the use of prototyping and physical model making,

primarily using 3D printing technology and automotive clay.

Handheld Drill Redesign

Modeled and rendered using Fusion 360

For my first Junior Studio in Fall of 2022, students were tasked with
redesigning a basic Harbor Freight handheld drill while
utilizing its existing components.

Modeled using Fusion 360, Laser-Cut Plywood 1/4 Scale Model

For the second half of Junior Studio in Spring of 2023, we were
given an open-ended prompt to design something with a "coolness factor" that focused on the aspects of design including aesthetics,
high-use engagement, ergonomics where applicable, aspects of sustainability, and research.
